We have divided Central Panama into three main regions covering different habitats available depending on your birding choice: dry, moist and wet lowland forest; lowland, foothills and cloud forest; savannas and other grasslands; marshes, lakes, and rivers; and coastal habitats bordering two different oceans Those regions are also subdivided into areas taken from "The Panama Canal Birding Trail" map, made by Panama Audubon Society (PAS) in conjuntion with SAID and BirdLife International.
